Hello,
We need a simple web-based invoicing/billing system which we will be used only by our staff (back office, not seen by customers).
This is how we would envisage it working:
1. We need to raise an invoice, so we login to a secure section on our website
2. We fill out a simple web form where we input:
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Customer Email
- Invoice Description
- Invoice Amount
- Payment Terms
3. Upon clicking submit, the information we have entered will be added to a pre-designed invoice template, this is then emailed directly to the customer and us (so we have it for our own records).
The system will also need to automatically do the invoice numbers, e.g. Invoice 1000, Invoice 1001, Invoice 1002, etc etc and input the date the invoice is raised.
We have already created the web form containing the fields required, but at the moment it doesn’t do anything.

| There are lots of systems out there already that do exactly what you are requesting at very low rates. Just search for "Online Invoicing" in Google. If you need any help setting this up or integrating into your current systems then please let me know. Regards Chris |

| Hey Vincent, Based on my understanding an inventory systems is large system which allows you to manage product, customers, supplier and sales details. Based on the information provided, seems that you only want to generate an invoice...? Do you need some kind of reporting systems also...? Is it necessary to add the customers details every time when he visits, or we can save the customers information. In understand what you mentioned is a 1 time activity where is the information is emailed and printed. what i am suggesting will involve database creation. Another quick question is how many of your staff will be using this application at the same time...? I think we need to discuss this further in details. Let me know if you have time.
