This Ilford based enquirer would like to get quotes for phase 1 of a website project they are shortly proposing to launch aimed at UK estate agency market as well as letting agents. Full details of the project can unfortunately only be disclosed subject to signing a legal Non-Disclosure Agreement. However, for the purposes of obtaining quotes here is as much detail as possible without disclosing the concept.

The project will have two phases. The first phase will be a type of micro-site introducing the brand, product concept, etc. The second phase will be the development and launch of the full website with full functionality of the product concept. For the purposes of this quote, they require a quote based on phase 1 of the project, i.e. the development of the micro-site. Therefore shall set out our requirements in respect of this micro-site only. Depending on how well this micro-site is created, they may then look to use your services in respect of developing the full site in phase 2 of the project. Micro-Site (Phase 1): The website is likely to consist of approximately 6 to 10 pages and its purpose is as follows: 1. To launch the brand (logo, colour scheme, etc). 2. To introduce the product concept. 3. To obtain paid membership via online sign-up and thus issue a unique username and password to each member. 4. To store details of all members (including payment details such as credit card details) into a database automatically during the sign-up stage. 5. To email all members via the site using the email addresses stored into the database during the sign-up stage in order to keep members posted on the progress of the project until full launch. Therefore the micro-site should have the following key functionalities: 1. Issue an automatic username (i.e. their email address) and password (of their choice) to all clients who choose to sign-up online. 2. Accept online payments via a merchant account for sign-up purposes. 3. Allow the completion of a Direct-Debit form online which can be emailed back to us to print/send to our bank. 4. Database to store member details, contact details and their payment/card details. 5. Ability to manage members via the database, i.e. block access to members that have not paid, email them using stored contact details, etc. As the micro-site is only a temporary measure, it is vital that the quote reflects this. We are a new start-up business and expect to spend a larger amount on phase 2 of the project which will involve creating the fully funtional site.
