I offer diary management, booking travel arrangements. Typing detailed technical reports. Induction of new members of staff detailing company specific procedures and reporting lines. Process timesheets and expenses on a salary basis. Minutes of meetings. Creating invoices and purchase orders which I input into logs. Credit Control. Word processing. Audio Typing. Creating a database ready to mail merge and follow up calls once literature has been sent. Make initial calls to find the correct person to send your information to and therefore reduce marketing wastage. Use Excel to record and present statistics. Book-keeping using Excel and Quickbooks. Bank reconcilliation. Making payments using cheques and inter-net banking for two clients. I have used IRIS to calculate the weekly wage of 22 people. Substituting at BNI for you.
Organising the literature and booking the stand at an exhibition. Meeting the public and clients when they visit your stand on the day of the Exhibition. I have used a number of company specific computer systems to record data and retrieve requested data.
Experience:
Since graduating in 2001, my work experience has generally been divided into working for large or small organizations. The large organizations were H M Treasury, the DfES and Amco mining. My skills of statistical analysis, budget monitoring, report writing, building up relationships with partners and sharing information as well as giving presentations were the main skills that I used in these positions.
The smaller organizations are where I set up, supervised a small team of volunteers and run the organization (doing everything). Event planning and co-ordinating the venue, box office, performers and technical production (lighting & sound) teams. I played a key role in business plans and meetings with clients. I kept financial records and made all payments. I also had authority to gain access to the company bank account. Generating letters and mail-merged then from databases that I created, monitored and updated. I followed up the mail-out and obtained two large contracts. I represented the company on stands at exhibitions and at network meetings.
One of my current clients is a private medical insurance provider. Here I deal with confidential medical details of all existing customer. I provide details to new customers and explain the benefits of each policy and all the extras. I provide quotes over the telephone or email. Send letters to people that have expressed an interest in the past and follow up these contacts.
Another client is a brand and marketing company. Here I generate databases, send literature and make follow up calls to make appointments. I type text for websites. For another client I type very detailed bills of quantities for a surveyor.
