I have been working in administrative roles since leaving college in 1993 having completed a BTEC National in Business and Finance. I have since completed upto Level 3 in Computerised Accounts (using Sage Line 50) and am in my final year of Association of Accounting Technician (AAT). I am looking to increase my working practice in Accountancy. I have vast experience of using computer packages including Microsoft products like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. I am an organised person who is able to work off my own initiative and enjoy learning new skills. I believe the work I achieve is of a high quality and I am able to work to targets and deadlines where necessary. I feel I am able to have a go at most things.

Experience:
I worked for a company that produced modular buildings for 5 years in which I was a PA to the Area Managers. This included admin tasks like updating databases, typing of letters and contracts, liaising with schools, solicitors, local authorities etc.
I have been a hotel head receptionist which again included admin tasks, maintaining staff rotas, bank reconciliation, mailshots etc.
I have had various temporary roles inlcuding working for an accountancy firm where I produced final accounts.
Mr previous role is working for a local authority in Social Services Finance dept, inputting data onto their financial management system. This was a temporary role for 8 months.
I currently work in an admin position for a local authority in which I complete management stats on a monthly basis, maintain database spreadsheets, type letters, carry out mailshots, complete assessments, use Microsoft packages as I have done for all my roles. These include Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project, email, internet, intranet, internal computer packages. I am also able to create webpages which are used on the local authority's website.
Education and Training:
BTEC National in Business & Finance.
NVQ in Computerised Accounts (Level 1, 2 & 3)
AAT Foundation, Intermediate Level and I am currently half way through AAT Technician Level.
