Arduino Sensor Processor

Need a userspace replacement for linux namespaces and bwrap.

Currently, flatpak and steam clients for ubuntu require namespaces to function properly. This limits the ability to run them on minimal/limited hosts such as docker containers. We require a seamless drop-in replacement that would mimic namespaces behavior without the corresponding kernel modules to circumvent this limitation. While we are aware that this has some serious security risk implications, maintaining some level of security guarantees that namespaces provide, to the extent that's applicable in this context, should be still possible on userspace level. There are no requirements for programming languages or frameworks, but we suspect lower level solutions like c++ will offer better performance in this case. As such, applicants that can offer their experience with those will be given priority.

Website Coding + Expert Level of Commerce7 a Must

We have a client that asked us to update their website. It is currently in WordPress and integrated with the Commerce7 POS system. The client would like to continue using Commerce7, as it's already linked to all their accounts and widely used by other vineyards they know. They are NOT looking to change their POS system. That said, they’re looking to refresh the vineyard website with a more modern and functional design—especially in terms of the Events section—and would also like to add a blog/news page to support SEO. So approximately 15-20 pages. We will design the pages and send you the files. We would just need you to be able to code the website in Wordpress and integrate the Commerce7 POS system and integrate an easy and functional Events Page that would also show the current weeks events on the Home Page. My current web team is not familiar with Commerce7 - so we are looking for someone with an expert level experience with Commerce7. In my initial research, I saw that Commerce7 does offer a WordPress plugin (“Commerce7 Connect”) and supports embedding e-commerce elements via widgets, but it does require a specific setup. So again only those with expert knowledge of Commerce7 should respond. A few notes on functionality: POS currently supports club membership shales, wine sales, gift card purchases, and event ticketing. The client only offers local pickup now but want to enable shipping in the future (Commerce7 supports this; they just haven’t activated it yet). I need a a squarespace specialist to create the following. 1. A modern mac desktop background, copying the layout and theme style as much as possible this includes the header bar/toolbar/background/folder icon. 2. Use the mountain background, the toolbar at the bottom will look the same as the Apple Mac toolbar but will have the social media links, along with a mail icon that would open to a pop-up form for mailing list sign-up. 3. There will be about 20 scattered clickable folder icons on the page which will have a folder name under the folder icon. 3a. About 15 of the folder icons when clicked will take user to an Error page. Which will say ‘Error code 420, please try again.’ Each page should have a return/back button that says return to desktop 3b. 1 of the folders out of the 20 when clicked will have a link to sound cloud and a picture 3c. One key parameter in Milestone 1 is to investigate and confirm that it IS possible to do it on Linux. 1: A hardware that can support dual USB ports, on running in UFP and DFP. As far as I know, most embedded MCUs (and maybe Linux CPUs?) have a USB port that can be configured for either mode. Need a HW platform that have two USB 2.0 ports, with one configured as DFP and one as UFP 2: That the Linux USB stack, on the USB UFP can expose a virtual USB hub and it is possible to attach viritual devices on that 3: That you have the C competence to implement this if you find that running an embeedded track instead of Linux is better, we are open for that as well.
