Convert GeoPackage (GPKG) to EPSG:27700 (British National Grid)
I have a GeoPackage (.gpkg) file containing spatial data (attached), but I need it reprojected to EPSG:27700 (British National Grid). I keep getting the following error when using the file. Unfortunately, I lack the technical expertise to do this myself and need an experienced GIS professional to assist. Requirements: Convert the GeoPackage (.gpkg) file to EPSG:27700. Handle any issues related to MultiPolygons or invalid geometries. Ensure that all attributes and geometries remain intact after transformation. Deliver a correctly formatted GeoPackage (.gpkg) file with the new projection. Ideal Candidate: Expertise in QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, or GeoPandas. Experience working with GeoPackage files and coordinate transformations. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve geometry errors (e.g., invalid geometries or MultiPolygon handling). Deliverables: A correctly reprojected GeoPackage (.gpkg) file in EPSG:27700 format. A brief summary of any fixes applied to ensure valid geometries.

Data Points to Collect Property Information • Title, listing type (sale/rent), source URL, use type (office/retail). • Location (address, nearest tube or train station). • Sale price (in the cases where the unit is for rent or the price in not listed there will need to be a function to reach out.) • Rent (£ and £/psf) • Size (psf) • Floors (#) • Agent Details - (Name, Email, number, website) Financial Data • Residential value: average price/rent per square foot in the area. Right move and Zoopla do residential values well. Commercial values can be from the listing. • Commercial value: average lease/sale price for commercial properties. This can come from the listing • Price history and vacancy duration. Planning Context • Planning history: applications, approval/denial, constraints. • Nearby developments: type, size, status, proximity. Deliverables • A system that collects property data from various sources and organizes it in a user-friendly way. • A database containing enriched property information, including market values and planning context. • An interactive dashboard to visualize and filter property information based on user needs. • Simple documentation to explain how to use the system and its features. • A system that keeps track of issues during data collection and provides error reports if something goes wrong. Additional Considerations • Real-Time Updates: Potential to schedule regular scrapes to keep the data current. Implement change detection to update existing records. • Scalability: Design the system for high-volume scraping and analysis. • Error Handling: Handle site changes, rate limiting, and data inconsistencies gracefully.

Create a landscape model with and without electricity pylons
I need a large scale landscape photorealistic model that shows the visual impact of 5 or 6 large (70 meter high) electricity pylons will have on the existing landscape. I have a DEM of the landscape, lots of drone images, 3D models of the buildings in the landscape and images of the pylons. I have extensive GIS experience, but dont have the experience or software to transform the 2d GIS files into a set of 3d photorealistic images. A "fly through" would be useful but not essential. I'm looking for an experienced landscape designer who has experience in creating the image montages that re-create the existing landscape then add the planned electricity pylons to that landscape. These images are for visual effect only, not for planning purposes, so dont have to be perfectly accurate. I'd expect the successful freelancer will have examples of previous work to demonstrate their prior experience in this area.

Geographical Information System (GIS) System for in house use
We are interested in developing an internal system to enable reviewing and use of UK government open data layers. I have no idea how big of a project this would be, so interested in intitial feasibility. Assume an opes source solution such as QGIS would be sufficient, or would a piad solution be easier to set up? Ideally I'd like to access it via a web portal. Data layers would mostly be those used at the following - https://groundsure.io/# It woudl be useful to have the abolity to draw a polygon identifying a site, as well. A more extensive example is https://magic.defra.gov.uk/magicmap.aspx Thanks

Draft accounts to be prepared for mortgage advisory firm.
I am a Directly Authorised mortgage broker. It is an FCA requirement that I submit my accounts to them bi-annually. I need someone to prepare draft accounts for my company for the past 6 months of trading, with specific requirements and broken down into the following categories: • Commission from broking regulated mortgages • Commission from broking non-regulated loans split between: • Limited company borrowers • Non-limited company borrowers • Commission from broking protection policies • Commission from broking GI policies • Income from any other non-regulated activities These accounts do not need to be filed, only prepared and I need to have these back and submitted to my compliance company before 6th May. For the suitable freelancer, this will be an ongoing arrangement every 6 months and for the accounts to be prepared in March, these will need to be filed and attached to companies house etc. Accounts are not my forte, so I had an accountant do all of this for me, however, their charges are excessive for the little work that is required. I use Xero accounting software, if that is of any significance.
WP plugin development - saving form data to database
I have a WP website that allows users to create posts from the front end using a form that I have already created. When users submit the form I need to trigger some functions that read some form data and process it in order to complete other post fields. I'm using a plugin called Toolset Forms to produce my forms. It has a hook that we can hook the function into that's fired when the data from the form is being saved - cred_save_data https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/cred-api/#cred_before_save_data Part One: Users are recording locations using a Google Map location, which uses latitude/longitude coordinates. When the form is submitted, I want the system to read some GIS shape files that we have. This will match the location to some data in the shape file that will then add additional data to other custom fields in the post. Part Two: Similarly, when the form is submitted, I want to convert the latitude/longitude coordinates to National Grid References, as well as Eastings and Northings. I have some formulae that should help with that. The converted coordinates would be saved in additional custom fields.
Convert a DTM file to 2d contour 2m interval
( digital terrain mapping ) to 2D contour drawing in cad or pdf from map supplier ''Yes, your area of interest above is covered by our LiDAR data, it is accurate to 25cm’s with the height information at 2metre intervals and is supplied in DTM format. You definitely need GIS software to open it, usually something like AutoCAD Civil 3D, the data is not available in PDF format.''

Provide database of USRN/road speeds for locations in UK (GIS)
We have a GIS project that requires matching 400,000 sites in the UK to the relevant USRN, road speed, and road type. Other relevant fields available from the OS base maps may also be required. Each site has latitude and longitude, and is identified uniquely. Easting/northings can also be provided. The ideal solution will allow the data to be extracted on a periodic basis to reflect changes to the site dataset.
Image Stich, Tidy and Layout
Hi, Need a 30 or so images stitched into one, looking for someone to create an A0 chart (map) layout from a number of PDFs. Bit of GIS/mapping experience be helpful. Original PDFs at, https://www.msq.qld.gov.au/Beacon-to-Beacon-Guides/Moreton-Bay-guides A *rough* example is attached based on https://www.msq.qld.gov.au/-/media/MSQInternet/MSQFiles/Home/boatingmaps/GoldCoastbeaconNorthern.pdf?la=en Each PDF contains, - Cover page - Key page - Primary Charts - Enlarged Charts First, stitch the primary chart (A4) PDFs into one image - Use the key chart as a background infill - Crop and align primary chart pages together - Tidy up duplicate information over image joins Then it's a design layout problem, - Insert the How To guide (last link on the provided page with the PDFS) scaled to A5 size - Insert englargement charts in a logical layout - Determine A0 layout (cropping, seperated sections, double sided are all options) After that, sit back and bask in the glory of a positive review.
