Probate Advice (UK) and Advice on probate application, Need advice in dealing with a UK probate application. Current executors are myself and 2 other brothers. My deceased dad was domiciled in Spain (for 42 years). He has some money in a UK building society, this is what the probate application is for. Spanish assets are being dealt with in Spain Need advice on the difference between a PA15 or my brothers 'to hold power of reserve'. Advising with the correct details to put on the online or postal application so it will proceed smoothly.

    Can I ask how much money is in the building society account because you might not need probate. Some building societies will release the funds on production of a death certificate and completion of a form.
