What we are looking for in a Nutshell:
We are a fast-growing company that celebrates the impact of company retreats by connecting culture-driven companies with inspiring venues and experiences. We’ve recently created a podcast to engage with top pioneers that transform culture through offsite events. We're looking for a proactive Content & Podcast Manager to oversee podcast production, audience engagement, and content distribution across multiple platforms. Will report to Chief of Community & Content
Role Overview:
The Content & Podcast Manager will own the podcast lifecycle, managing everything from production and distribution to prospecting and audience engagement. This role requires a mix of creativity, organization, and copywriting to ensure our podcast resonates with the right audience and continues to grow its reach.
Podcast Management:
Upload podcast files to platforms like Spotify, facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, X, ensuring smooth, high-res uploads and troubleshooting technical issues.
Collaborate with our video editor and graphic designer to ensure high-quality final products. (edited podcast episode and designed thumbnail/cover photo.
Maintain and optimize our Riverside.fm account, scheduling studio meetings and updating Calendly links for scheduled interviews.
Prepare interview scripts using insights from candidate research, Typeform results, and our CRM.
Organize and send draft episodes for client approval via private Dropbox links before final uploads.
Content Creation & Distribution:
Create engaging captions, add appropriate tags, and incorporate trending hashtags.
Turn 60-second podcast episodes into 10-second shorts for Instagram, TikTok, and newsletters.
Develop video shorts to include in our monthly newsletters to encourage subscribers to view full episodes.
Reshare content on our linkedin company page & dedicated website tab to amplify reach and engagement.
Collaborate with our SEO expert to ensure copy writing efforts are increasing our visibility across multiple platforms
Convert our company blog pages into linkedin articles
Boosting & Analytics:
Manage LinkedIn boosts for podcast episodes ensuring that posts align with technical video ad requirements of linkedin. Target relevant audiences such as Heads of People, Event Planners, and Executive Assistants through ad.
Allocate budgets between $150-$350 per boosted post to maximize impressions and engagement.
Track and analyze boosted post performance, compiling insights into actionable reports.
Audience Engagement:
Respond promptly to content engagements across all platforms, nurturing relationships with our audience.
Monitor platform-specific trends and suggest creative strategies for increasing content visibility.
Qualifications:
0-3 years in a content management, social media management, digital marketing, or podcast production role.
Familiarity with social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, Riverside and Spotify.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and writing skills for crafting captions and engaging copy.
Ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of video editing or willingness to learn.
Creative mindset with an understanding of audience engagement and growth strategies.
The platform of focus is Linkedin, prior Linkedin expertise and B2B marketing on Linkedin is a bonus.
