Experience Level: Entry
my cameraman sent me wetransfer links, each of the links contained a file. There are 8 wetransfer links in total.

He sent the wetransfer links through the free wetransfer service last year and he forgot to tell me at the time.

So i didn't download it as he didn't inform me.

And i cannot open it now as it is expired.

Do you know how to download expired wetransfer links?

The expired wetransfer links contain folders with a lot of photos

But I can’t download them as the wetransfer links are expired

Should I first send one of the links to you to check if you can help then?

I just need you to download it. You don’t need to edit it or anything.

If successful I’ll send other links as I have a lot more which I need you to download too

    Once expired, the links/downloads are gone. You'll need to contact your cameraman to get the files re-sent.

    Unfortunately, once WeTransfer links expire, there is no way to recover or download the files directly from those links. WeTransfer's free service typically keeps files available for only 7 days, and after that, they are permanently deleted from their servers.

    Here’s what you can do instead:

    Ask the cameraman to resend the files: This is the easiest option if the cameraman still has the original files.

    Check for backups: If the files were stored somewhere else (e.g., a cloud service, local drives), the cameraman might be able to re-share them from there.

    There is no way to recover or download files from expired WeTransfer links unless they are re-uploaded.

    Once a WeTransfer link has expired, unfortunately, there is no official way to recover or download the files from that link. WeTransfer's policy is to permanently delete the files after the expiration date, which is usually 7 days for free accounts or longer for paid accounts. The only way to access the files is if the sender re-uploads and sends them again.
