SAME AS THIS PROJECT: https://www.peopleperhour.com/freelance-jobs/web-development/e-commerce/add-products-to-homedepot-1552629
We are trying to get a person who will be able to add all the products that we carry on to Home depot. They have a back end part that is called ITEM DATA MANAGEMENT. Here is some information that will explain the details and also the tasks that are involved. We would need someone on a consistent basis.
When working with QuickSheets, please remember to copy/paste special values. Also, please note that QuickSheets are now structed to have all items separated into tabs based on categorization rather than attributes.
While your items are undergoing the internal review process, please use the Workflow Summary page located under IDM Toolbox to locate your items.
If you need to make edits to an existing item, you will need to push the item to Maintenance from Existing. Please note: all attribute lockdowns still apply.
The Populate Attribute Data process is now split into two parallel processes: Regular Enrich, where you will populate core, marketing, hazmat, and image/digital asset data, and Supply Chain Enrich, where you will populate supply chain data. Please note that both workflows must be completed before your item moves into the internal review process.
Uploads for zip files containing PDFs or JPEGs are limited to 30 MB.
You may generate a report of any item list page by selecting Export at the top of the page.
Please visit the IDM knowledge base for more information.
Create New Item
All items and Super SKUs will begin their lifecycles here. There are six workflows within this process. These workflows are concerned with ensuring that the most basic item data attributes are populated and validated before additional item data, hazmat information, and assets are established for your item.
Populate Attribute Data
All items and Super SKUs will move into the Populate Attribute Data process. There are three workflows within this process. These workflows are concerned with capturing regular attribute and supply chain attribute data.
Vendor Hazmat
Any item that is classified into a hazardous category or any item for which you selected Y for a hazmat question will move into the Vendor Hazmat process. There are two workflows within this process.
Images & Digital Assets
While you will do the work of actually associating images and digital assets to your item while on an item detail screen, you may use the Images & Digital Assets accordion within the left navigation pane to search for and manage all assets associated to your account. After performing a search, you will be led to a thumbnail grid of all the images returned by your result. From here, you may navigate to a detail page of a specific item and perform additional functions.
Data Quality & Maintenance
After your item or Super SKU becomes existing and certified, it may require additional work if it is ever identified as having incomplete or incorrect attribute information or if the item is a part of a collection effort initiated by The Home Depot. If this ever happens, your item or Super SKU will move into the Data Quality & Maintenance process. There are seven workflows within this process.
Existing Items
All of your existing and certified items and Super SKUs will be visible under Existing Items, either under Items & Super SKU Items or Super SKUs. Please note, all existing items and Super SKUs are strictly read-only. In order to make edits to an existing and certified item, you will need to push the item or Super SKU into the Maintenance process. You may also initiate a copy of an item or Super SKU from these screens.
Discontinued
If you ever decide to discontinue an item, it may move into the Discontinued process if additional attention is required. In this case, additional action will be required outside the IDM portal. You may navigate to Vendor Action Required to provide a replacement OMSID if applicable.
IDM Toolbox
The IDM Toolbox provides access to additional functionality within the IDM Portal. This includes the Workflow Summary Item Visibility page, which allows you to check on the status of an item in any workflow state, the Upload/Download Queue, which provides visibility to all background processes, Export All Items, which allows you to generate various item reports, Upload QuickSheet, where you will be able to import a QuickSheet for mass item processing, and the Use/GLN Administration page, where admin users can manage non-admin users.
Vendor Resources
The Vendor Resources accordion provides access to training materials, help documentation, and vendor support contact resources.
Summary
1. Adding products to homedepot fulfillment site
2. Get products approved by homedepot
3. Ensure all items are loaded onto HomeDepot.com correctly
4. Future maintenance as needed as a separate job.
