I seek an experienced bookkeeper and accountant to assist with the yearly accounts finalisation and tax compliance work for a UK based business. The ideal candidate should have extensive practical experience utilizing mainstream accounting software such as Xero or IRIS to maintain the books of accounts. They must be proficient in processing bookkeeping entries for income/expense ledgers along with VAT, PAYE, and CIS returns. As this is recurring work, applicants should demonstrate expertise in preparing year-end financial statements adhering to FRS102/FRS105 standards. The finalised accounts would then need to be used to complete the corporation tax computation and CT600 filing. Applicants must have intimate knowledge of UK taxation regulations concerning areas like capital allowances, tax deductions etc. The candidate should be adept at interpreting complex tax laws and identifying optimisation strategies.
