Vendlab will be running an eCommerce Unconference in the middle of 2024. The unconference is all about eCommerce – how to grow sales on websites, Amazon and eBay.
An unconference is an event where the attendees decide on the agenda and learn from each other. There are no speakers; instead, participants split into groups to discuss topics of interest.
We believe that this will be the first unconference in eCommerce. If successful, we would like it to become a business stream in its own right. However, our key aim for it is to win business, by establishing ourselves as experts and meeting lots of potential customers at the event.
2. Name
We have chosen the name eVendlab for the unconference. This is so that Vendlab gets maximum impact from the eVendlab marketing effort.
3. What we are looking for in the logo
The logo needs to look professional whilst still being approachable and fun. The unconference is a new and different approach to conferences; we want a logo that reflects this, without being too way out there. It should be compatible with eCommerce, and with our existing Vendlab logo.
We think it’s important that name eVendlab is in the logo.
Words to describe eVendlab (the event and the brand) would include:
Inclusive, collaborative, people-first, different, fun, useful, learning, curious, helpful, knowledgeable.
4. Who is our target audience?
Attendees to eVendlab will be owners / senior managers of product businesses that are either currently selling online or plan to. They will have sales of £1m to £20m. They will be entrepreneurial and savvy. Their key interest will be in growing their online sales.
5. Deliverables
We need now:
• A logo
• A design for the home page of the eVendlab website
• Brand guidelines
We will also need in the future (but can’t spec at the moment), designs for emails, invitations, social media pages and banners.
