Project Title : Bookkeeping for small business

Project Location : Remote

Project Status :
Expired for Bidding
Project Description
We are a small hair and beauty business who need help with book keeping. We are looking for a regular bookkeeper who can help us each month and make sure we keep on top of things. We have an accountant for our annual books etc. A excel spreadsheet is currenlty used and we do not wish to change the system, so the role is largely data entry and cross referencing. The business is based in surrey but we do not believe that you need to be local to us if you have a secure postal address and are happy to communicate via e-mail and telephone.

Hello,

I would like to bid but really need to know if your budget is an annual budget as I would price for this job as a monthly fee.

Also, would you require payroll services? If so, for how many employees?

And lastly, are you VAT registered?

Thanks
Abigail

I would like to bid, but need to know a little more.

How many sales and purchases do you have each month?

Do you have employees? and if so, would I also need to prepare the payroll?

Are you VAT registered?

Is your £250 budget annual?

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Thanks

David

Hi can you give me some sort of idea on how many receipts/invoices will need posting per month? I presume your spreadsheet is a basic purchase/sales ledger and that you are not VAT registered. I have provided bookkeeping services to a variety of small-med businesses using a variety of accounting packages as well as basic spreadsheet accounts. Is your budget of £250 an annual budget? Incidentally I am also a qualified therapist so understand the hair/beauty business.

I would need to know the number of transactions per month to gauge the level of work required. Ideally I would be able to see the excel spreadsheet in advance to understand any complexities. Can you provide an electronic copy? Is the budget quoted annual?

I am an ex bank manager and currently manage the accounts of a golf club, thus I have current experience in dealing with the accounts of small businesses.

Debby,

Yes I would also be interested in knowing the number of transactions per month and also something about the format of the excel spreadsheet - is it possible for you to send a copy?

Regards,

Gary

Hi Debby,

I have read your proposal for book keeping for a small business and would be interested to know if the budget quoted is per month or a one off fixed fee for the first month, with future fees to be negotiated. I would also be keen to learn the format of your excel spreadsheet, i.e. is it in the form of a cashbook or just sales and purchases?

Very much looking forward to hearing back from you,

Kind regards,

Judith Littardi

Approximately how many transactions does the business produce per week which need to be entered on the spread sheet? Is the business VAT registered?

Hi Debby

Would you please state how many sales and purchases you make in an average week or minimum and maximum. This will help be price more accurately.

Thanks
