Project Description
Hi

I am in the process of writing a Quality Control and Procedure manual to gain accreditation with UKAS. Once I have written the document I am going to need someone with word processing skills to go over the document and add indexing and numbering and generally tidy the document up.

As this is a technical document the level of indexing is detailed, with each and every paragraph being separately identified. Please see the example attached showing my efforts with the first few chapters (nb this is a provisional draft version only).

The document will be ready in approx 2 weeks. It is estimated it will be 50 pages in length.

At this stage I am interested in locating people who are provisionally interested in the job. I will then confirm with the applicants near the time regarding a fee structure once I have a clearer vision of the size of the job.

Thanks and Regards

Mike

Hi

I would like to have a go at this- I have done some indexing using the features in Microsoft Word, for a pHD thesis & other Adult Ed assignments.
Last month I proof read a novel.
A couple of years ago I did a HACCAP for a local grower.
Let me know if you need further info
Sally

Hi Mike,

Can you expand on the requirement to 'generally tidy the document up', please? I guess that you don't expect copy-editing/proof-reading to be included, as they are much more time-consuming and involve special skills. Please confirm.

Hi Lynda
Thanks for the interest. As I previously stated it probably best if u add a provision bid just so I don't "loose" your details.
many thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

I was really pleased to see your project listed as this brings together two strands of my career to date - with over 20 years admin experience, I qualified as a ISO 9001 Lead Auditor in 2004. At the time I was responsible for writing and implementing procedures and processes which conformed with organisational QA requirements.

I would need more information before submitting a firm bid, and note your previous comments, so I hope to hear from you if you decide to shortlist me.

Best regards
Lynda Racher

Hi Kelly
Thanks for your message. I agree its not possible to put an accurate bid in until the doc is finished (which will be in a week or so). What I was hoping to do was see who was interested in the task in the interim, and then provide the full document to a short list and do the deal from there. May be the way forward is to put a provision bid in of £1 so I have a record of u for when I am secting the short list? I don\'t think this will be contractually binding....?
cheers
Mike

Hi Mike

I haven\'t put a bid in yet, I\'ll wait until you have more details and then I can put in an accurate bid based on the size of the job.

I can do this for you no problem and it will take me about 3 hours withing receiving the document. I have recently done something similar for another business owner (see my feedback).

Look forward to hearing from you!
Regards

Kelly
