Hello,
I have a website that I require building and it consists of overall 100-150pages with approx. 15 pages are essential to delivering the company message and a remaining 70-100 pages will be populated as and when needed. So the first 15 pages of the website will need to be LIVE almost immediately. The content for this will be provided by us and so a CMS will be needed so that the various 100-150 website pages can be updated with new content subject to changes etc. A forum may also be required after 1-2 months after going live in order gain customer comments, so if you could provide a cost for this in your quote.
Images will be displayed on certain pages such as instruction pages etc. As also brochure ware will be available on the website and the PDFs will also be provided by us. The prices page will be a drop down webpage with a search facility, and also available via an excel download.

So your price/quote for a 150-200page website with a CMS and download features for pricing and marketing brochure ware. Finally, a payment gateway integration would be needed such as Worldpay or Paypal but we are open to suggestion based on current payment providers you may already use.

| I think that PPH must be unique in having people request pitches for website work on the basis of the number of pages. How people can bid on the basis of the description is beyond me. | |||

| Hi I have provided many content management systems for larger projects including for a local council. For this type of project i recommend an off the shelf commercial CMS product. The purchase price for the CMS is very low but very scalable and can be customised to suit the project in many ways. What i have in mind includes the specification you need. To be sure of the pricing could you send me the wire frame of the site. Would we be required to host the site for you too on our own dedicate server? Regards, Nick Moreton |

| Greetings Neil, How are you ? Well I read the scope and there is another option too to do this. As you need 70-100 pages in a way where you can edit the stuff all by urself i have a better idea for that. You will have all the control over those 70-100 + pages Another, I would like to see the design your site has coz this is the part of the plan depending upon the design you have created. After tht i would like to know the criterias of Search if you have it in hand. Neil, The reason behind asking specific questions are i am working on schools360.co.uk and there is a search and the criterias changed many times :). So this time we can fix wht is needed just incase to save time and i can get it done the first time as needed. Apart from these i think everything is k and yes if i can look at the site then i think i can fix those 100 page CMS thing in less then 2 days. Awaiting a reply ... Sincerely, Jatin |

| Hello! Before I place a bit I would like to ask one question. Do you need design or just the functionality and content management system (CMS) and you have the template/theme? If you also need design then that must be discussed separately. You can have look at my portfolio where you can see different websites done from £220 to £500. It's all about the time we spend to make every small detail to be perfect. It also depends on your business and the goal of the website. If you would send me the wire framing of the website then that would also help a lot to give exact price. To give you rough idea of our pricing - for £200 we will provide fast (cacheable pages), very functional and yet simple to use content management system where is no problem to easily add 100-150 pages or even thousands. It has built in file manager to upload easily images, pdf's, etc. It has search engine friendly structure and URL's (pages not domain.com/index.php?id=645 but for example like domain.com/some-interestin-topic.html) the whole system has built in Google Sitemap generator, Google search, Google Analytics etc (I'm SEO specialist that's why so much effort to tie the website with Google). I use MODx framework and I strongly suggest to forget Joomla, Drupal, etc. Maybe enough for first letter.
