Goodmorning,

Please can you provide an estimate of how many hours per week this role is likely to need so that I can provide you with a suitable quote.

Many thanks

Harriet - I find the interface on this site a nightmare! I am trying to get myself back to the point where I can post a file. Anyhow, this is what the file says: You can google the event and find out more.

As creator of this prestigious annual event I’m searching for the right person to help co-ordinate the 2008 awards.

The JOB
Receiving and recording on-line nominations, issuing application forms, liaising with candidates, members of the judging panels, award endorsers and media partners. Most of the work will be email based with some telephone follow up.
Although nominations are already being received, the busiest period of this project will be from early-Sept to mid-November.
Anticipated time commitment: flexible but to meet demands of the project (approx 140 hours during project life-time)
Pick up and action emails at least twice (both am and pm) daily Monday – Friday. Unlikely to suit someone moonlighting!

The PERSON
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience of working within a professional environment possibly in the City of London, (eg law, finance, insurance, investment banking, accountancy) and is:
 Well organized
 Confident when communicating at senior level with busy people
 Customer/client focused
 Deadline driven
 Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel

The REWARDS
In addition to receiving a project fee of up to £2000, you’ll get the buzz and excitement of being involved in a highly successful event now in its 6th year and an opportunity to develop the role and become more involved in this growing organisation.

Before we can quote on this project, please can you advise (based on previous experience) how many hours per week this project has involved, or number of hours per week you anticipate it needs. I understand there is a peak period, but if you could averge the hours out that would be very helpful in arriving at a meaningful quote. Rita.

Rita - as I\'ve said to some others, I find the interface on this site a nightmare. Each time I log in there\'s a different type of screen! I have prepared a file that\'s a job/person spec but I cannot find the screen that allows me to post that, so here are the contents:

Tina - it would be useful for us to have a conversation. I\'ve just realised that I\'ve been responding to people incorrectly by posting a message rather than replying!

You can reach me on 0704 404 7497. See www.citywomen.co.uk for more information.
